Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026
The Short Version
What We Don't Collect
- Passwords, passphrases, or encrypted text you generate
- Analytics or usage data
- User accounts or profiles
- Cookies for tracking (we use one cookie for theme preference)
- IP addresses or device fingerprints
What Happens in Your Browser
All cryptographic operations (password generation, passphrase generation, encryption, decryption, metadata analysis, and URL inspection) happen client-side using the Web Crypto API and CryptoJS. No data is transmitted to any server during tool use.
Local Storage
We store two things in your browser's localStorage:
- Theme preference (light/dark)
- Reading progress (which articles you've read)
Both are stored locally and never transmitted.
Third-Party Resources
Our site loads the following resources from external servers:
- Font Awesome icons from cdnjs.cloudflare.com
- CryptoJS encryption library from cdnjs.cloudflare.com
These are loaded via HTTPS. We don't share data with these providers.
Cookies
RandomSecure uses a single cookie to remember your cookie consent preference. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
Third-Party Advertising
We may display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising:
For details, see Google's advertising policies.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal data through our tools, there's typically nothing to request access to or delete. For data collected by third-party advertising, use their privacy tools linked above. If you have questions, contact us through our contact page.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
